“I love it. It’s great to do something you love, and be able to support yourself. It doesn’t even feel like work,” Kyle said with a smile.

Kyle can now utilize more time during the day for the ministry, such as studying the Bible with people and encouraging others. He will continue his other job as a cabinetmaker.

The church had been without employees since February, when the then-ministers were laid off due to the church’s inability to pay their salaries. The finances experienced even more flux in September when the church experienced a sharp decrease in membership, losing more than half its members.

But the church has recovered well.

“The Lord has really blessed us. It didn’t really look too positive, but God has worked a lot of miracles with what we have,” commented Jim Anderson, church treasurer.

For the past few months, God has proven that he provides. As the book of Luke says, “Ask, and it will be given.”

And God has given the church a leader who can now do more of what he loves to do.
