Fun in the sun leads to fun in the food!

“We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3

The church had more fun in the sun!

There was a good turnout yesterday for our soccer day, as the children brought their friends, who brought their friends.

Children of different ages and playing ability participated in a day of sun, fun and soccer. They enjoyed the exercise, teamwork and encouragement, despite the fact that they couldn’t give each other a “hand.”

But they did help each other put their best “foot” forward!

The teams were mixed up, adults and children. Some children ran circles around the adults!

The day was hot, but the wind helped the players keep their cool.

Soccer worked up everyone’s appetite, so after the games, many of the players headed over to the Kea‘au McDonald’s. The fun continued there as all of the children ate together and laughed and talked about the day.

What a great way to spend time together!
