Los Angeles World Missions Jubilee
Hilton Hotel – Universal City, California
July 31 – August 3, 2008

On the glorious day that the ark of God was brought back to Jerusalem, all Israel celebrated with shouts, trumpets, cymbals, harps and lyres! King David led the procession, dancing with all his might – for the ark’s return symbolized and actualized God’s returning presence among His people. To glorify God on that historic occasion, David presented this psalm of thanks to the Lord before all Israel:

Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name;
make known among the nations what He has done.
Sing to Him, sing praise to Him;
tell of all His wondrous acts.
Glory in His holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and His strength;
seek His face always…
Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
proclaim His salvation day after day.
Declare His glory among the nations,
His marvelous deeds among all peoples.
For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
He is to be feared above all gods…
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”

When the psalm was ended, all of Israel said “Amen” and “Praise the Lord!” (1 Chronicles 16: 7-36) This year’s Jubilee likewise centers around a special time to praise our God. In the City of Angels International Christian Church, we are rejoicing that the glory of God is returning as He is raising up and blessing, “beyond anything we could ask or imagine,” the Sold-Out Discipling Movement of churches. In just 14 months, God has borne and forged unity among 26 congregations – 13 in the United States and 13 international churches – whose collective motivating vision is simply to “Declare His glory among the nations!” Speakers, teachers and participants will be traveling from all over the world sacrificing whatever it takes to come together and worship our God. Inspirational sermons and practical classes will train us through the Word to be more effective in winning lost souls, planting churches, gathering the remnant and strengthening the weak. Lord willing, one unforgettable highlight will be on Sunday when the Spirit sends off the New York City and Washington D.C. Mission Teams!

The fourth annual World Missions Jubilee will be held at the beautiful Hilton Hotel in Universal City – Los Angeles. There will be a Global Church Leadership Conference on Wednesday, July 30 (Registration $20). Thursday evening, July 31 will be the opening session of the Jubilee. The seminar will conclude at noontime on Sunday, August 3. The registration cost is $80/adult or $60/student. (Register through the mail or online at www.CAICC.net.) The rooms at the Hilton Hotel are only $129/night for the first 100 rooms. After the first 100, the price will be $169/night. Conveniently, once at the hotel, no transportation is necessary as all Jubilee events are at the Hilton Hotel which is adjacent to both “City Walk,” with about 40 restaurants, as well as the Universal Studios Theme Park. Saturday, the Jubilee’s schedule will conclude at noon to allow all the participants to enjoy a time of fun and fellowship at Universal Studios Theme Park. (Entrance to the theme park is $64 for one day or multiple days.) If you have any questions contact Ron Harding at 714-249-5051. Come and bring your whole family to this historic occasion! And to God be the glory!
